There are plenty of low fat products on the market however not all of them will be appropriate for the Dukan Diet.

The general rule is to check that the cheese or meat or other product is less than 5% fat. It can also come as less than 5g / 100g of the product.

Unfortunately the food producers these days like to exploit the trend for low fat or light products, and very often will lower fat contents, but compensate by adding sugar! This is especially common in "light" yoghurt varieties.

This means once the 5% fat rule is satisfied you still need to check that there is no added sugar and that the carbohydrate count is low too.
